Paoli Mejias has been selected to be SANTANA'S new conga player!

Paoli's work with the band began in September 2013 recording the new cd "CORAZON" of the famed guitarist and rock legend, and then played a series of eight concerts at the House Of Blues in Las Vegas, Nevada where Santana is resident artist for the last two years. After returning to Vegas in November, the last run at HOB will be in January 2014.  HBO Latino & HBO Latin America will record Paoli's next concert with Santana to kick off the new record “CORAZÓN, LIVE IN MEXICO: LIVE IT TO BELIEVE IT” in Guadalajara, Mexico on December 14. The concert will air on the HBO networks in spring 2014. Confirmed superstar performances at the concert in Guadalajara and on the album, CORAZÓN include Gloria Estefan (Cuba), Los Fabulosos Cadillac (Argentina), Juanes (Colombia), Miguel (USA), Niña Pastori (Spain), Samuel Rosa of Skank (Brazil), Salvador Santana (USA), Soledad (Argentina), Diego Torres (Argentina), Chocquibtown (Colombia), among others.  Future tour dates include Dubai, Cape Town, Johannesburg South Africa and....

El percusionista puertorriqueño Paoli Mejías ha sido seleccionado como el nuevo conguero de la banda de rock legendaria de Carlos Santana. Su labor como músico de Santana comenzó en Septiembre 2013 grabando el nuevo disco del afamado guitarrista y tocando una serie de ocho conciertos en House of Blues in Las Vegas Nevada donde Santana es artista residente desde hace dos años.
