Here's a personal note from Paoli:
Greetings to all. Here is the video and link to Toyota's webpage with the ad I did for the new Rav4 and its new feature of acoustic glass. I invented the rhythmic pattern that I am playing and fused it with the plena rhythm native to Puerto Rico; I recorded each instrument (congas, udu, bell, chékere, and pandero de plena) and then I mixed it.
If you can, listen to the video with high quality headphones to appreciate the quality of the sound. Thanks to all the friends who have called me super happy to see the ads in the newspapers and other media. I've always been a fan of Toyota ads and this time I had the joy of being part of these award-winning campaigns recognized internationally. I appreciate the ad agency Badillo Nazca Saatchi & Saatchi Puerto Rico and the battalion of people involved in this project for the great work they do and for the good treatment they gave me. I had a super time with you all, I enjoyed it very much and I laughed a lot; I consider them my friends.
